Hudson Restaurant Week

If there’s any restaurants in Jersey City you’d like to try, now is the time! Hudson Restaurant Week will run until February 3rd and there are some great menus and dining options available.

Laico’s – This is a classic Italian restaurant in Jersey City that almost every foodie in the area has heard of. If you love Italian dishes, we recommend making a reservation ASAP. They have many options to choose from and $5.00 Tito’s drink specials. Try their famous artichoke hearts or buratta salad to start and for an entrée try their veal parm, 14oz sirloin steak (with bleu cheese and mushrooms) or their French cut chicken (just to name a few). End the evening with a nice tartufo, homemade pound cake with ice cream or chocolate cake.

Raval – For $30.00 you’ll get a 3-course meal and a drink of choice (draft beer, house wine or sangria). Some items from the dinner menu include pan-seared prawns, butternut squash soup and mushroom croquetas. As far as entrees, indulge in their polla a la plancha, paella (chicken, chorizo or vegetable) or a hardy burger. They’ll serve their classic flan and bread pudding for dessert. You’ll also love their authentic Spanish décor. I also want to come here for their comedy night as well on February 8th.

Amelia’s Bistro – A favorite here in Paulus hook! Amelia’s NEVER disappoints. At least in my opinion. I just went here on Friday and I have to say it, it was F*cking fantastic. I suggest starting with the pan-seared risotto cakes, kale salad or the sprouts and bacon thin flat bread. For an entrée try the chicken sauvignon, skillet-seared cauliflower or the braised boneless short ribs, yum! End the night with a homemade apple skillet or tiramisu.Lauren Jester | January 29, 2017 at 9:19 pm | Categories: Ballin’ on a BudgetGood EatsHudson CountyJersey City | URL: http://wp.me/p6SdVB-m6
