Launch of Lutze Eats
Every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7pm until October 29th, Jersey City residents can enjoy food and drinks on the Hudson at Lutze Eats. Lutze Biergarten has become one of Jersey City’s foodie hot spots with their delicious food, drinks and views of New York City. They’re stepping it up a notch by bringing a weekly pop-up event to the adjacent Harborside Waterfront Boardwalk, which means even more unique food vendors. If you have been to Smorgasburg in Brooklyn, but you’re not a fan of the commute, then this is for you. It will feature over a dozen food vendors and is a great place to hang with friends and meet new Jersey City Residents.
This week’s lineup includes some of our favorite such as:
Glazed and Confused – Their idea was to bring delicious, fresh, made-to-order mini donuts to the streets of NYC…and they did. Since conquering the street fair scene the business has expanded into private events including weddings, bat/bar mitzvahs and corporate parties. Lucky for Jersey City resident, we can indulge in these mini donuts every weekend!
Maroon Sausage Company– A couple with roots in Chicago and Jamaica started the company and their jerk chicken sausage (available in mild, pineapple or spicy) is one for the books! Their goal is to create a simple yet memorable cuisine. You can catch find them at festivals all throughout New York City and this will be their second appearance at the Lutze Biergarten.Lauren Jester | July 31, 2017
